About the role:

Perform the end-to-end calculation of monthly and quarterly submission of product information, pricing information and other pertinent data to federal agencies, including calculating and reporting the quarterly Best Price (BP), monthly and quarterly Average Manufacturers Price (AMP), quarterly Average Sale Price (ASP) and quarterly Public Health Service (PHS).

Ensure submission of pricing information within the statutory time frames – Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), state agencies as needed by statute (i.e. NY EPIC) and/or contract (i.e. Texas Supplemental).

Coordinate with Commercial Contracts group, Legal, and Internal Audit to ensure compliance with the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003, the Deficit Reduction Act of 2007, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act and the FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act.

How you will contribute:

  • Communicate pricing results to various government agencies and internal departments as needed by statute or contract.
  • Investigate and resolve any/all issues on CMS variance reports.
  • Keep up to date on all applicable CMS releases relating to pricing calculations.
  • Partner with Commercial Contracts to understand current contracting activities.
  • Manage large amounts of data for pricing calculations
  • Be knowledgeable of price protection, bundling, stocking discounts to understand impact on calculations
  • Partner with others to ensure smooth operation of the GP system.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or associate’s degree and 2 years pharmaceutical experience.
  • Manage multiple priorities to maximize results. Pay close attention to project deadlines and schedules.
  • Understanding of calculation methodology and system functions.
  • Must be able to calculate various government prices.
  • Health care business acumen with an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
  • SAP or ERP System experience
  • Advanced Excel skillset (Formulas, Pivot tables)

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$56,000.00 - $88,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
