IT Support Specialist

Job Description

We are looking to hire an IT Support Specialist who wants to be a part of a fast-paced startup working on all aspects of corporate technology operations. You will be responsible for supporting the IT environment. This role requires strong desire to learn quickly and take responsibility for mission-critical services.

Core Responsibilities

• Support IT within the corporate environment, including but not limited to wired/wireless network, email, phones, laptops/desktops, data backups, and security
• Setup and image corporate laptops
• Manage inventory of software licenses and hardware assets
• Triage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Manage and own Help Desk ticketing system
• Provide A/V support for company-wide events
• Create documentation for IT policies and end-user training

What it Takes to be Successful

• Formal training in computer hardware, systems software, on-prem and cloud applications, ticketing systems, and various network topologies using a combination of protocols OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful work experience that has included determination, isolation, and resolution of problems in computer systems, installation, configuration, and modification of a variety of operating systems on laptops, including all versions of Windows and MacOS Ability to operate information technology systems and to communicate effectively.
• Bachelor's degree required
