This position will be a key driver of creative excellence, responsible for building and
developing our luxury beauty brands. The SD/VM Senior Manager will support our skincare Global Creative Directors in high-level concept development and execution of store design and
merchandising, helping to move the needle towards disruptive brand-building executions.

Darphin, deeply rooted in French heritage, leads in delivering high-performance skincare solutions tailored specifically to transport our active ingredients deep into the skin to increase their effectiveness & bring the most powerful skin transformations. Lab Series, an American brand, is meticulously crafted to understand men’s physiology and unique skin needs. Both entities have a global presence with retail stores across the world.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Brand Builder:
• Partners with Global Creative Directors to develop and build strong instore visibility.
• Supports in brand management and execution to ensure consistency across channels.
Strategic Thinker:
• Align concept development with functional and business needs.
• Support SD/VM needs for priority markets (outposts, podiums, pop-up formats, etc)
• Identify consumer trends, maintain knowledge and execution of industry best practices
for retail marketing as well as performing ongoing benchmarking
• Partner with consumer insights to conduct regular environmental analysis,
• Drive and execute compelling storytelling at store
Creative Collaborator:
• Work closely with Marketing to create and activate events and experiences in store that
have global reach.
• Partner with Creative Operations to align on appropriate talent to ensure accurate
execution of creative vision.
• Partner with Regions to analyze and develop strategies for Influencer and Consumer
Animation and Events to build brand equity, consumer retention, conversion and revenue.
• Oversees and provides feedback to relevant outside agency partners
• Identify, maintain and manage strong relationships with China and EMEA team in the delivery of event ideation and in-store production services.
CREATIVE MISSION:
• Highly creative skills & work experience at Store Design and Visual Merchandising
• In collaboration with agencies and internal departments, designs and creates floor plans, elevations, schematics, details, sketches and 3D modeling necessary to communicate design vision
• Adaptation of SD/VM concepts across channels of distribution (FSS, DS, Pharma, Specialti-Multi, Pop-ups, etc... )
• Design planograms and planogram's evolution during the year based on Marketing programs
• Create aesthetically optimized visual merchandising schemes for window vitrines and in-store
vitrines, for the presentation of existing products and new product launches
• Drive high visual merchandising standards across the retail locations with creation of clear
guidelines and communication for each launch program
• Apply & Adapt Global Store Design & VM Concepts guidelines to regional projects & constraints within timing and quality
• Produces concept sketches, presentation drawings, technical drawings, specification and
artwork layouts as required to communicate design intent
• Establishes a list of preferred and reliable freelance consultants to unsure workload smoothness
• 10+ years of creative experience in SD / VM, in luxury beauty is a plus.
• Analytic, strategic thinker with strong written and oral skills
• Good visual awareness, creative ability and driver of innovation
• Project Management with problem solving skills
• Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented, time management skills, ability to juggle priorities.
• Self-responsible, proactive and autonomous is essential.
• Well organized, autonomous, proactive and detail oriented
• English is mandatory, mastery of French is a plus
• An international work experience is a plus
• Team player & strong relationship-building skills: ability to work with a variety of people in
various disciplines and enjoys collaborating with positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe programs Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign.
• Knowledge in motion design, AUTOCAD / SKECTH UP / SOFTWARE 3D.
• Strong understanding and experience in both online and offline retail experience
• Committed to introducing environmentally conscious strategies to skincare industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• A great portfolio showing high-end store design / visual merchandising work
• Unlimited passion for beauty and luxury.
