Position Description:

CGI is looking for Jr. Automation Developers to help our client modernize their existing automation infrastructure and to build new automation tooling using their Citizen Developer toolset. We need Developers who have worked with automation toolsets and is able to assist our client in automating their processes and analyzing their data to make important decisions. Must be able to learn new technologies rapidly in order to best understand how to leverage them for the client.
This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Lafayette, LA office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Enhance and maintain business automation tools
• Refactor existing automation solutions to take advantage of new low-code tools
• Build new solutions based upon existing system logic and new functional and interface requirements
• Participate in design meetings with other projects and the client’s technical specialists
• Work with other agile teams to effectively design, build, and deliver cloud-based solutions
• Work with other teams to coordinate integration testing across multiple (more than 3) teams
• Participate in daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos and other Agile ceremonies
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Due to the nature of the government contracts, this position requires US Citizenship
• 1+ years of development experience in the Information Technology field focusing on development projects using Java, JavaScript or Microsoft Power Apps
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub
• Experience with SQL
• Experience delivering as part of Agile Development teams and strong familiarity with Scrum and/or Kanban delivery models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Experience with ServiceNow or Salesforce
• Experience Microsoft Power Apps or Power BI
• Experience with UI Path
• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience with Tableau
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,000.00 - $150,200.00.
