If you have a strong aptitude for close communication and collaboration with various teams, including Vehicle Engineering, Advanced Hardware Engineering, Firmware, System Engineering, Core Software, Procurement and Strategic Partnerships, Logistics, Corporate Quality, and Supplier Quality, we'd love to hear from you!
In this role, you will:
- Contain issues discovered during the manufacturing assembly process and end-of-line testing to unblock the line and identify opportunities for performance improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and lead root cause analysis for pre-fleet release issues, identify and prioritize potential blockers, and optimize for design for manufacturing (DFM)
- Manage and lead new changes and new product introductions through prototype and production launches in all value streams by developing an end-to-end plan and leading implementation discussions
- Create metrics and dashboards to monitor issue resolution health and present reports with clearly identifiable key takeaways to leadership
- Review manufacturing processes and identify improvements to drive DFM using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
