Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Business Operations Analyst. Build and deploy analytic models and reporting to demonstrate value proposition; source, analyze, and visualize complex data simply and accurately; perform data extraction, manipulation, cleaning, analysis and QA of large datasets; apply data modeling methods, organize large data sets, identify discrepancies, and make appropriate adjustments; conduct research, test new technologies, and supporting interactive digital assets; utilize data management technologies such as SQL, SMSS, Tableau, Alteryx, Python/R, and relational and non-relational databases; apply knowledge of data analysis, visualization, ETL, cloud computing, and machine learning/AI as appropriate. Required Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantitative Sciences, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Analytics.

Must have: Completion of a university level course, thesis, project, or internship involving the following: statistical analysis; data management and manipulation; economic and forecaset modeling; regression analysis; SQL; Python; R; Tableau; and MS Office.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $74,922 - $86,442/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
