Part Time Registered Nurse to join our
Women's Health Care Center (WHCC) , located at our Roosevelt Clinic. This position will support several clinic providers specializing in internal medicine and primary care.
WORK SCHEDULE 60% FTE / 24 hours per week
Must be available Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm
This position works 3 days each week. The exact days worked may vary each week.
Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Our Women’s Health Care Center provides primary care and specialized care for a wide breath of gynecology & obstetrics needs. We provide routine and complex family planning, treatment for dysplasia and HPV, gynecologic surgery consultations, and gynecology services for both pediatric and adolescent patients. This is a great opportunity to join a team that always puts their patients first.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with our internal medicine patients to provide consultative care
Answer patient calls and eCare messages
Follow up on medical records and test results
Manage prescriptions and referrals
Provide nursing advice in person, via phone, and via telehealth
Handle phone triage on a daily basis on our women's health phone line
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of current or recent experience in medical-surgical, internal medicine, or women's health nursing
Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Active BLS Certification
