ABOUT THE JOB:
The Guidebook team is seeking a proven EDU sales expert to join as a Higher Education Sales Strategist to drive dollar for dollar renewals, upsell, and innovative strategies within our Higher Education customer base. This individual will work with a broad spectrum of strategic and high-value accounts within our EDU vertical to ensure a seamless renewal process and proactively identify opportunities to extend their relationship with Guidebook. In addition, the Higher Education Sales Strategist will game plan and execute sales initiatives that bolster EDU performance for the entire EDU team.
Our team values collaboration, and the Sales Strategist will have the opportunity to help develop the renewals function by defining the role and responsibilities and shaping key processes. This position requires the ability to sell the value of Guidebook in the higher education space, foster meaningful relationships with customers, spot and pursue upsell opportunities, generate account growth through outbound prospecting, and negotiate and effectively manage a portfolio of customers to limit dollar for dollar and logo churn. In addition, the ideal candidate lives and breathes the deeper inner workings of the higher education sector (specifically in Student Affairs), possessing both a hunger and an acumen for strategic problem solving with university clients.

COMPENSATION:
A reasonable estimate of the salary for this role is $75,000-$90,000 annually, plus $20,000 - $40,000 variable.
