A key element of this strategy was the design of a new way to support its suite of 30 brands globally. The company chose Panama as being best suited to establish its new Global Business Services (GBS) operation center. This new center will initially deliver Finance, Human Resources and Legal services to ELC employees across several geographies and time zones. Through a new innovative service minded approach, this center will redefine service standards globally at ELC. This new GBS team will provide a one-stop-shop solution for the ELC businesses, supported by new customer engagement insights, new systems, and new reporting. In addition to delivering exceptional service to the ELC businesses each day, the GBS team will also be responsible for continuously streamlining work in pursuit of growing its service offering in support of achieving ELC’s strategic and business objectives. Role Overview:

· Serve as lead OS partner to Cluster Finance & Strategy team, together providing key reporting and strategic financial analyses across Brands and Categories to support Executive Group President

· Lead and oversee Brand Finance OS team, managing efficient team workflows and ensuring cross-training and sharing of best practices.

· Proactively streamline processes and identify areas of improvements to drive efficiency across Brands/Clusters, leveraging best practices and focusing on high-return deliverables

· Deliver timely and accurate Cluster management reports and analyses to support ELTA, ELT, MPR and other key meetings.

· Prepare and call out trends/insights on weekly retail reporting, quarterly Category dashboards, etc.

· Derive and recommend GSE/ELII cost management direction, balancing trend analysis, strategic needs and Corporate solve targets.

· Lead GSE/ELII annual budget and LRP in partnership with Brand Finance teams, with clear building blocks and drivers

· Communicate key variances with drivers on Global Brand and GSE/ELII monthly actuals and estimates and actively review and call out R&Os

· Assist on ad-hoc projects, including but not limited to, scenario planning, channel optimization,

· Lead a team that includes Sr Managers/ Managers and Senior Analysts supporting the Global Brands

· Innovative/Change agent. Experiments with new concepts and approaches.

· Continuous improvement and service-oriented mindset; consistently reviews processes and procedures to reduce delivery time, drive efficiency and effectiveness and improve client experience and satisfaction.

Responibilities:

Take action to create and deliver timely and accurate data in response to ad hoc requests (40%)

· Lead the team to deliver standard monthly reports in an Estimate Package to include charts, graphs, and text to explain variances, and analytics. (15%)

· Create monthly category reports to focus on financial delivery of the fragrance and makeup categories and explain any changes. (10%)

· Problem-solve/decision make to deliver monthly profit requests as required by corporate finance (5%)

· Manage Budget and LRP files for brands, clusters, and categories (10%)

· Prepare quarterly Performance Reviews for the cluster that focus on financials as well as analytics for inventory, retail sales trends, marketing etc. (10%)

· Summarize monthly R&O reports. (10%)


Qualifications

Requirements:

· Advanced Excel skills to manage large amounts of data quickly and accurately.

· Advanced PowerPoint Skills (also familiarity with Think Cel), to use graphs and charts to tell the story that aligns with the financials.

· Use company-wide dashboards and reports effectively to obtain information.

· Retrieve information from a variety of financial and operational systems to support analysis.

· Assist in coordination and analysis of LRPs, strategies etc to roll up brands within the cluster.

· Build relationship with individual brand finance teams to assist in information gathering and business understanding.

· Must have strong time management skills to prioritize properly, provide quick turnaround and meet deadlines.

· The ability to function successfully in high paced environment with last minute ad hoc projects.

· Must deliver high-level/high-quality results on a regular basis.

· Effectively manage the team to ensure prompt and accurate deliverables.

Possess the ability to think and process both at a high/summary/big picture level and be close enough to the details to ensure accuracy.
