Job Description

Articulate is looking for a “roll up your sleeves” Go-To-Market (GTM) Compensation Operations Manager who has experience standing up a scalable and efficient CompOps program. As the GTM Compensation Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and management of GTM compensation plans to drive performance and ensure alignment with business objectives. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail to optimize compensation structures and processes. This role will work cross-functionally interacting with all GTM Teams, Revenue Operations, Business Solutions, and Finance. This role reports to the Director, GTM Strategy and Effectiveness.

What you'll do

    • Design and Implementation:
    • Lead the design and implementation of GTM compensation plans, including commission, bonus, and incentive programs.
    • Collaborate with GTM leadership and other stakeholders to ensure that compensation plans are tailored to motivate and reward GTM teams effectively.
    • Analyze GTM performance data and market trends to inform the development of competitive and compelling compensation packages.
    • Plan Management and Administration:
    • Oversee the administration of sales compensation plans, including the calculation and distribution of commissions and bonuses.
    • Develop and maintain documentation of compensation policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.
    • Address inquiries and resolve issues related to compensation plans, working closely with sales representatives and finance teams.
    • Performance Tracking and Analysis:
    • Establish key metrics and performance indicators to track the effectiveness of our compensation plans.
    • Conduct thorough analysis of GTM performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize compensation plans and drive better outcomes.
    • Tech Innovation and Stack Building:
    • Drive innovation in our technology stack to support and enhance our compensation operations.
    • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to evaluate and implement tools and systems that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in compensation management to ensure we remain at the forefront of industry best practices.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to refine workflows, streamline processes, and deploy automation to heighten efficiency.

What you'll need:

    • Suggested 8+ years of experience in Compensation Operations or other relevant fields.
    • Proven experience in GTM compensation management or related roles, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.
    • Deep technical knowledge and hands-on-keyboard experience with commission automation tools, CRM, and ERP solutions.
    • Agile thinker that is always iterating and working to unlock unseen growth for the business driven from within their domain.
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills to extract meaning and recommend actions
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

    • Ability and desire to learn quickly and troubleshoot problems
    • Attention to detail and flawless execution
    • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
$105,900 - $158,900 a year The pay range for this position is $105900 to $158,900 for all US locations. Articulate takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
