Spotify is looking for enthusiastic students with a passion for music and an ambition to go far. This isn't just any internship! Our paid internship program will give you the chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it's like to be a Spotify employee as well as get the opportunity to see the technology side of a fast growing company! Our summer internships will last for approximately 10 weeks this summer and start in the beginning of June. We’re looking for User Researcher Interns to join the band this summer for a variety of teams. In this role, you will get to design research on our products and users and you will have an impact on the way the world listens to and experiences audio content. For our Experience mission, we’re also looking for a Content Designer Intern. When applying, please make it clear which opportunity you’d be most interested in.

What You'll Do

    • Define, plan, and conduct user research with Spotify customers
    • Deliver compelling insights to the product and design teams
    • Facilitate evidence-based product and design decisions
    • Contribute to company-wide research strategy
    • [CONTENT DESIGN ONLY] To check and edit simple pieces of copy produced by product designers across the mission
    • [CONTENT DESIGN ONLY] Liaise with legal to make sure we can publish it
    • [CONTENT DESIGN ONLY] To review it against our style guide and best practices
    • [CONTENT DESIGN ONLY] To check for repeatability (is there existing copy we can/should reuse?)
    • [CONTENT DESIGN ONLY] To liaise with localization on the translation of this copy

Who You Are

    • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Social Science, or a related field
    • You have a graduation date of 2024 or 2025
    • You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2024
    • You are available from June to August 2024 to participate in the summer internship
    • You have strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with stakeholders across disciplines
    • You have experience planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research
    • You are familiar with quantitative research methods, familiar with metrics and A/B tests, and are able to synthesize quantitative data with qualitative user research
    • You are a great storyteller and communicator, able to speak fluently to business teams, designers, engineers and other partners (in English)
    • You enjoy collaborative work in a dynamic, data-driven, creative environment

    • This role will require you to work out of our Stockholm Office
    • Working hours? We operate within CET for collaboration
