About the team

Our voice and edge machine learning team at Roku works on embedded machine learning models for new products. The team covers a range of skillsets from embedded firmware development, machine learning, quality assurance, and data engineering. We build, deploy, and maintain embedded machine learning models to enhance the user experience across our hardware products. We frequently work on new product launches to deliver cutting edge new features such as handsfree voice control on our voice remote pro.

What you’ll be doing

When you work at Roku, you will be working on a platform that is used by real people. You can show off the fruits of your labor to your family and friends and see it in the electronics department of your favorite stores.

You’ll work on our edge machine learning pipeline. Your work will be used for building our team’s edge machine learning models for new products.

We’re excited if you have

• Excellent Python skills
• Experience with cloud services.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, Docker, SQL, Tensorflow lite
• Experience with building machine learning model data pipelines.
• Experience developing machine learning models for embedded platforms
• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
