About the Role: We’re looking for a Merchant who’s results-driven and beauty obsessed! As the Merchandise Manager you will develop and present assortment strategies poised to offer ‘best-in-class’ products for our Mexico consumer. You will deliver on topline sales and margin targets through clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners. You’ll be a subject matter expert as you monitor the competitive landscape and consistently source new and differentiated products that delight the Ipster Community. You will manage both subscription and eCommerce programs. This position reports to the Chief Merchandising Officer and this role can be fully remote in Mexico. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Research and develop a vision and strategy for what brands, categories and pricing structure will be best for the Mexico consumer.
• Collaborate with the Brand Partnership team in the assessment and sourcing of merchandise for both subscription and ecommerce.
• Source, curate and launch a balanced assortment that meets financial goals for both subscription and ecommerce.
• Analyze and communicate results post-month while ideating opportunities for incremental growth and mitigating risk.
• Partner with Planning to assess inventory levels and supply risks. Lead development + execution of contingency assortment plans where needed.
• Partner with Planning and US Merchant Team on the assessment of pricing and profitability that tie back to company KPI’s.
• Partner with Marketing to develop engaging content to drive brand communication and merchandise via email, on-site banners, and social media.
• Maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape and communicate POV on new brand, class and retail launches.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams.

What We are Looking For:

• 4+ years of buyer and/or merchandising experience in the beauty industry in Mexico.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong critical-thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and organization.
• Autonomous work style yet has a strong sense of collaboration, urgency, and creativity.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/G Suite.
