Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer with a specialization in DevSecOps to join our growing team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be the technical expert bridging the gap between our cutting-edge DevSecOps solutions and our clients' unique needs. Your primary focus will be to drive sales by providing technical guidance, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with both the sales and engineering teams to ensure successful pre-sales implementation of our DevSecOps solutions. Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and align them with Imperva’s solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.
  • Act as a technical consultant during the sales process, providing insights into industry best practices and addressing customer concerns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technical stakeholders at customer organizations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices built from experience either architecting or operating security solutions for production modern applications.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and processes like Gitlab, Github, Jenkins, etc.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with API Security, Container Security and Public Cloud Security (especially AWS)
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excitement to help enable your peers in training sessions
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $185,000 -$210,000.
