Business Systems Analyst. Senior

Perform computer systems analysis to design and develop technology platform underpinning Akamai business processes. Work on enterprise-level applications and integrate industry standard tools to bring insights to serve organizational decision making. Support and enhance the Software Development Life Cycle framework. Lead facilitated sessions with the business community to define and plan the deployment of application solutions. Communicate project status and escalate issues to management. Develop and execute system test plans and scenarios. Prepare training materials for deployment of applications, modules, enhancements and bug fixes. Build integrations between Internal HR applications and external third-party applications. Perform technical troubleshooting, manage multiple high priority assignments, analyze data, and provide actionable solutions to internal and external stakeholders. Required Qualification:

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Technology Management, Computer Information Science/Systems, or Management Information Science/Systems, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related systems analysis role. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Technology Management, Computer Information Science/Systems, or Management Information Science/Systems and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related systems analysis role.

Must have Two (2) years of experience in the following: SQL, Jira, Oracle tools, Business intelligence tools, PL/SQL, and Agile methodology.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $139901 - $140803 /year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
