We are looking for a Manager, Finance - Renewals to join our finance team, reporting to the senior director of Finance. In this role, you will lead the Finance team that supports and provides strategic direction to the Sales Customer Development organization. You will partner and collaborate with Sales leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth. What you'll do:

  • Oversee financial aspects of contract renewals within the organization
  • Act as a strategic business partner for the Customer Development team, which is expected to be one of the fastest growing teams in Infoblox
  • Manage one direct report, with the potential to have additional reports in the future
  • Analyze renewal trends, prepare financial reports, forecast revenue from renewals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Help optimize the renewal processes, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports and analyses to senior leadership, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Track progress against KPIs, both functional and corporate, clearly communicate actionable findings with Sales and Marketing leaders, and actively participate and present at Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Enable business partners to take actions derived from analysis and insights and/or drive these actions when appropriate
  • Be a leader in driving Sales processes improvements, efficiencies, and excellence

What you'll bring:

  • 8+ years of combined experience in finance/business partnership roles, direct experience with annual recurring revenue (ARR) and/or renewal reporting a plus
  • Ability to develop positive and productive working relationships across geographies and cultures
  • Ability to develop a framework for assessing a complex problem, getting buy-in from stakeholders on the framework, and using it to make a fact-based decision
  • Demonstrated confidence in your decisions and ability to respectfully stand your ground in the face of disagreement, even from senior executives
  • Extensive experience driving complex business decisions with stakeholders
  • Good understanding of subscription/SaaS metrics such as ARR, retention rates, and customer acquisition costs
  • Solid business acumen coupled with an executive presence
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Superb interpersonal, organizational, and management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, MBA preferred, or bachelor’s of science in mathematics, IT, or a related field

What success looks like:

After six months, you will...

  • Work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organization
  • Drive Sales processes improvements, identify areas of improvement in the company, and create and implement solutions
  • Be able to pull and report on primary Sales KPIs and metrics and understand what they mean

After about a year, you will...

  • Be a true value added and strategic business partner to the Sales organization, having built strong working relationships across Sales leadership and operations
  • Have a team that has completed 1-2 projects that help the renewals team and finance scale to the exponential growth expected over the next 3 years

You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, education, and professional certifications. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position in Washington is $115,700 – $163,360 and California is $120,600 - $175,720 plus corporate bonus potential.
