Job Description

C.H. Robinson is seeking and talented and motivated Report Developer to join the Reporting and Analytics Team. You will be a key contributor in developing pivotable reports for a dedicated account, collaborating both functionally and cross-functionally to perform various levels of data analysis, process analysis, requirements gathering, and report creation. In this role, you will support business operations and project goals through customized data visualizations and actionable analytics. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely, accurate, streamlined, and consistent reporting for all internal and external customers
  • Develop, enhance, and resolve issues relative to customer scorecards, dashboards (data visualization), and ad-hoc reporting
  • Collaborate with our internal team and corporate technology to develop standard operating procedures
  • Drive projects forward with clarity and commitment
  • Effectively apply technical techniques with direction and feedback
  • Demonstrate an awareness of team design and coding standards
  • Translate intricate technical concepts for peers and team members
  • Develop and execute innovative approaches to technical problems
  • Elevate strategic decision-making through collaborative efforts with team members
  • Identify, engage, and provide consistent updates to relevant stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or 3 years of relevant experience and coding boot camp
  • Minimum 2 years of reporting and analytics experience
  • Infrequent travel may be required (domestic and/or international)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An academic background in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts
  • Knowledgeable in technology and continuous process improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Entry to intermediate experience with Programming languages
  • Entry-level to intermediate experience with reporting and data analytics tools
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Possess an academic understanding of fundamental business and technology principles
  • Demonstrate an awareness of decisions and perform assigned tasks within the boundaries of those decisions
  • Understand basic business analysis techniques and have limited experience in their application
  • Demonstrate comprehension of technical concepts
  • Able to quickly identify problems and find creative/logical solutions with minimal assistance
  • Capable of producing quality materials within tight timeframes while simultaneously managing multiple requests
  • The ability to set and meet deadlines with short lead times
  • Professional written/verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
