The ELC UK&I Corporate Affairs team is a multi-disciplinary function which is responsible for protecting and enhancing the reputation of the company in the UK and Ireland, and for supporting the business to meet its strategic objectives. Our work spans internal and external leadership communications, internal and external corporate channels management, content creation, media relations, issues and crisis management, vetting support to brands and communications support to functions. Our team also oversees Public Affairs and works closely with the Citizenship & Sustainability team on key social impact programmes such as The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign, and also support various employee engagement initiatives.
We are looking for a Corporate Affairs Assistant and PA to the VP to join our team! In this role, you will provide support to our small but mighty team across internal and external communications to ensure key priorities are met, and play a key role in organising internal and external corporate events. You will also serve as a personal assistant to the Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Communications. We are looking for a versatile, hands-on, dynamic and detail-orientated person, with good writing and excellent organisational skills, and an ability to build relationships.
Team Administrator and Events Coordinator
• Organising corporate events, both internal and external, including booking venues, liaising with vendors and stakeholders, following up on logistics, ensuring smooth rollout of event, and post event follow-up
• Monitoring the Corporate Affairs inbox, flagging relevant enquiries and coordinating responses in a timely way
• Raising POs and tracking payments
• Supporting VIP visits, including internal and external guests
• Preparing decks and wrap reports, capturing channel metrics and insights
• Personal Assistant to the VP of Corporate Affairs and Communications
• Managing the team diary and taking action notes
Internal communications support
• Support writing and posting articles on our Intranet platforms for corporate and point of sale employees
• Sending corporate emails to employees
External communications support
• Provide support to manage our corporate website in the UK, including liaising with the website management vendor, and gathering content
• Help manage issue tracker
