THE ROLE: The Monitoring Manager, Global identifies and enables synergies between three similar but unique monitoring teams and manage them as a united group. The person in this role is expected to have a history of change management, and knowledge of business analysis. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Manage four geographically dispersed Monitoring Supervisors (two Remote Monitoring Supervisors - one in North America and another in the Philippines, one Network Support Monitoring Supervisor in Singapore and one Remote Tracking/Pig Monitoring Supervisor in Edmonton).
  • Identify synergies between Remote Monitoring teams and greater AMG.
  • Leverage the geographical diversity of the teams for increased profitability – through resource sharing/taking advantage of time zone differences.
  • Accountable for tracking, reporting and escalating operational/project metrics to the Director, AMG.
  • Accountable for the quality and on-time response from the Remote Monitoring teams.
  • Communicating internally within the business and externally with client the application of Remote Monitoring technologies.
  • Ensuring staff development and performance expectations are met.
  • Ensuring great customer service at all levels and supporting customer satisfaction.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Fostering collaboration within Assessment Services (for example, Software department) and within the AMG (for example on multi-technology project deliverables).
  • Fostering a safe and healthy work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The position requires expert knowledge in change management, and operations optimization with 10+ years’ of progressively responsible professional experience.
  • University bachelors degree in business analysis or process management or business transformation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement fundamentals is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Big picture thinker.
  • Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lead as well as working part of a team.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach that puts client relations/needs/deliverables first.
  • Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
