As the Finance Business Partner Germany at Qonto , you will drive financial planning and analysis activities (with a strong focus on topline and business growth), ensuring accurate forecasts, and providing strategic insights, recommendations, and effective decision-making. Together, we will shape Qonto’s financial strategy, optimize performance, and maximize profitability in the dynamic German market You will work closely with the Managing Director and his leadership team , and join a team of finance professionals that will contribute to shaping the financial success of Qonto in Germany 👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Finance Business Partner for Germany, you will: • Be a real business partner by providing the Managing Director and his leadership team with the necessary data to measure the effectiveness of the strategic plans and offer in-depth insights and analysis to support decision-making • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and our operating teams in the German market to provide financial insights, understand their performance, evaluate business initiatives, challenge their perspectives, and identify risks and opportunities • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor business performance, and identify areas for improvement, and gain a deep understanding of current business trends in the German market • Conduct and manage the bi-annual budgeting process for the [German] market, aligning with corporate and central goals and achieving accuracy within the timeline • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies for the [German] market Full-time position with standard working hours. Nathalie started her career in a Big 4 and then switched to corporate, where she held several FP&A positions (Corporate, Business Partners, Revenue) in Tech and Entertainment companies such as Criteo, Ubisoft, Solocal, and Activision-Blizzard. Nathalie joined Qonto one year ago and is leading the FP&A team, composed of 7 talented people. • What they can bring to you: Nathalie will bring her expertise in fast-growing and business transformation companies. She will support you in developing your department and your team. She will give you all the keys to master your topics and continuously make you grow and learn 🏅 About You: • Experience : You have at least 8+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a fast-paced organisation with a good knowledge of business and the ability to provide actionable insights • Business Acumen: You possess a deep understanding of the [German] market, including local regulations and industry trends, enabling you to translate financial data into business strategies • Strategic Thinking: You have the ability to think strategically and develop financial strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives, driving business growth and profitability in the [German] market • Leadership: strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence decision-making processes • Communication and Presentation Skills: You have excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively convey financial information and concepts to stakeholders at all levels in the German market and align various stakeholders among the company • Self-starter : you take initiative and you are intellectually agile, comfortable with creating processes and dashboards • Mastery : you are fully proficient in Excel/Gsheet and have strong financial modeling skills.
