About the role:

The finance team plays a central role within Mobiquity. As our new Senior Finance Manager, you’ll be
focusing on the day-to-day financial control, reporting and accounting, knowing that most
Finance transactions are performed by our Finance team in India. They support our EU and US
operations: billing & invoicing, all sub-ledger accounting, P&L and FS reporting. Your role will be
to monitor and align these finance operations and assure NL compliance. Main focus is on
Business support (client operations and FP&A). You will operate in a small hands-on team with
the VP Finance in the Netherlands and cooperate with different departments within Mobiquity
and Hexaware in Europe, US and India.

This is a really exciting opportunity within an exciting business that already has a number of
successful, truly global operations in Europe, US, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Oceania. Our
office is based in Amsterdam, near RAI station.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Monitor commercial processes like credit check, pricing, commercial offers (RFP)
• Monitor all areas of accounting operations, including monthly and quarterly close processes, GL, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, revenue and tax related topics, like VAT, CIT
• Monitor SOX/AO/IC and make recommendations for improvements
• Ensure that the financials are accurate, and reporting is timely, therefore providing management with the best information possible to grow the business
• Ensure timely and accurate audits, working with auditors and other parties for periodic and annual reviews, as needed.
• Manage all compliance and tax reporting requirements in accordance with Dutch Law
• Drive the financial business plan for the company
• Analyse financial results and monitor budget to actual variances. Assist managers in assessing the results
• Perform analysis of sales & margin on company, account and project level
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
• Cashflow forecast

What it takes to excel in this role?

• Have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role
• Have a Master's degree in finance
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and Dutch accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Very skilled in Excel
• Be hands-on, accurate, analytical, and have an entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong communication in both English and Dutch
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, especially excel, accounting software
• Work independently
• Ability to coach and supervise
• Pro-active
