Senior Deductions Analyst Fanatics is seeking a Senior Deductions Analyst responsible for a B2B portfolio. This individual will be directly responsible for the research, documentation, and closure of chargebacks and deductions while protecting the organization against unnecessary risk and bad debt exposure. Core Responsibilities: •Independently manage portfolio of business-to-business customers, including Fortune 500 companies, Big Box retailers, Professional Sports Teams, and Leagues. •Ability to problem-solve and be persistent in bringing issues to conclusion independently with minimal Lead oversight. •Build relationships with key Fanatics customers and internal departments, including Sales and Customer Service. •Conduct thorough research and analysis, retrieve and document chargeback details, and resolve any issues preventing payments from being issued. •Provide documentation, reconcile accounts, and perform other general accounting duties to clear chargebacks, which may include reaching out to internal departments and external customers. •Work with external customers to retrieve sufficient documentation to resolve aged outstanding items. •Coordinate with Sales, Vendor Compliance, and Management to understand the drivers of deduction activity and offer insight into operational improvements. •Negotiate customer disputes to resolution and document root causes of payment issues. •Actively prioritize and monitor customer accounts, learning reasons for non-payment and understand the necessary steps to bring to resolution. •Weekly reconciliation of accounts. •Responsible for monitoring chargeback behaviors for various customers to identify when customer is at risk of defaulting on balance due to ensure no further exposure is at risk. •Responsible for investigating and clearing customer chargebacks/deductions and offsets, which may include GL coding for accounting to properly apply to correct functional accounts. •Maintain clear documentation of all communication with customers and internal departments. •Participate in mentoring AR Deductions Analyst. •Able to think critically and use resources available to handle more complex and/or detailed customer issues. •Accountable for reducing delinquency in assigned portfolio. •Must be a team player with a positive attitude. •Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the AR/Credit Department Job Requirements: •Must be comfortable communicating directly with customers by either phone or e-mail, displaying ownership and problem solving in assignments. •Ability to display resourcefulness and critical thinking in assignments. •Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of AR experience preferred or 4+ years of high-volume AR experience with high school diploma. •Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables •Hybrid role with preferred schedule of T-TH in Tampa office, M&F Work from Home Required Skills: •Clear and effective professional communication skills with all levels of management. •Strong ability to analyze and interpret data to make sound decisions. •Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task to ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
