Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President, Privacy Technology & Operations, this role is an integral part of the SPE Privacy Office.
With day-to-day oversight and input from the Vice President, this position is responsible for: 1) providing technical advice in support of global business objectives while mitigating privacy risk; 2) undertaking privacy operations work based business and privacy legal requirements,; 3) reporting key privacy operations measurements/metrics; 4) collaborating with business teams and relevant cross functional stakeholders to enable business objectives, address privacy requirements, and promote privacy awareness globally.
Core Responsibilities:
- Research emerging privacy-related technologies and provide guidance to global stakeholders
- Work with the team to build privacy-enhancing technology solutions
- Successfully implement day-to-day privacy-enhancing technology solutions, including but not limited to managing the design & implementation of OneTrust modules and overseeing their ongoing management and operation, including data mapping, automated assessment, data subject rights, and universal consent management modules for use globally
- Conduct complex privacy impact assessments and review all other privacy impact assessments consistent with potential risks
- Collaborate with legal and business teams to assess, mitigate and track privacy risk
- Perform risk assessments (fact gathering and analysis) and documentation for TIAs and ROPAs
- Manage and administer the operations of DSR activities.
- Conduct process integration activities necessary to onboard and integrate newly acquired businesses
- Perform fact gathering and support for incident response and support the individual beach notification preparation on as a needed basis
- Report on key privacy operations measurements/metrics for privacy operations program and oversee creation and availability of on-demand privacy metrics
- Assist with assessment of global privacy operations program maturity
- Collaborate with business teams and relevant cross functional stakeholders to enable business objectives, address privacy requirements, and promote privacy awareness globally
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-7 years of privacy and data protection experience (preferably including CCPA, CPRA, LGPD)
- One or more IAPP certifications, including Certified Information Privacy Professional, Certified Information Privacy Manager, Certified Information Privacy Technologist, preferred
- Knowledge of Information Security principles, including ISO 27001 framework and Information Security Management System (ISMS) preferred
- Knowledge of Agile & Waterfall project management methodologies preferred
The anticipated base salary for this position is $115,500 - $154,500. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
