The Role Veeva Link’s vision is to build connected data applications to improve research and patient outcomes. We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive compliance analyst to join the Veeva Link product team. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that our operations and procedures meet government and industry compliance standards at any time. You will research regulations and policies, communicate requirements to operational and technical teams, evaluate internal operational compliance, maintain communication with the legal department, and work together with external partners on any data privacy or copyright related matter. You will also be responsible for analyzing, identifying, and solving compliance problems. The ideal candidate will have advanced analytical capabilities, knowledge of industry compliance and standards, and exceptional communication skills.
What You'll Do
- Research compliance regulations and policies
- Develop and execute new compliance policies and procedures as required
- Communicate requirements to operational and technical teams
- Evaluate internal operational compliance
- Update existing compliance policies and related documentation
- Maintain communication with the legal department
- Work together with external partners on any data privacy or copyright related matter
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a compliance analyst or officer in a related field
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Exposure to SQL query writing and scripting (e.g. Python)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple timelines, projects and schedules
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
Nice to Have
- University degree in business
- Experience with one or more Data Analysis tool, e.g. Knime, Tableau etc.
- Experienced in developing manuals, process outlines, and implementation procedures
- Comfortable working in an agile environment
- Experienced with data privacy regulations and copyright law
