This new air-launched weapon system will include phases progressing through design, flight test, initial production and deployment of the weapon system. Responsible for planning, development, implementation, and management of effective and affordable weapons, materiel, or information systems product support strategies. Ensure supportability requirements are addressed consistently with cost, schedule, and performance. As a Sustainment Engineer you will:
• Provide program support to include integration, comprehensive logistics, and property support for the lifecycle of the product.
• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Assist in all shipping and receiving functions for the system.
• Assist in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support.
• Assist in tracking in bound/out bound program hardware at Denver.
• Provide property coordinator support to the program.
• Assist in tracking the status and delinquencies of calibration items.

Basic Qualifications:• Previous experience in Logistics within the Army / Air Force / Navy / DoD Logistics environment or commercial equivalent
• Experience with product support management and integration of the 12 integrated product support elements
• Proven interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence and act as change agent
• Establishment of calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Considered experienced, but still a learner
Desired Skills:• Development and review of handbooks for technical adequacy
• Development of maintenance engineering and logistics support
• Experience in all phases of development life cycle for missile and/or launch vehicle programs and supporting production of missile, launch vehicle, spacecraft or aircraft hardware
• Familiarity with configuration control and quality control tools and systems (e.g. EPDM, Q-notes, VRICs)
• Experience managing and tracking of Government property
• Experience in working with various Database Storage systems such as SAP
• Experience with maintaining records, inventory and loss reporting
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $61,300 - $117,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
