THE TEAM Our Briteling Experience (BX) team is charged with attracting, engaging, and retaining the diverse talent we need to win. We partner with our global teams to develop initiatives that foster an engaging experience for Britelings to perform to the highest standard. THE ROLE We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our growing team in India: someone with breadth of experience in the HR field who will help to advance our people-centric goals in the region. You will partner with the global BX team to help ensure a consistent Briteling experience in India. This is a very hands-on and operational role that provides assistance with all aspects of HR operations support. You will report to the India - Head of HR, who is based in Hyderabad, and be part of a global, dynamic and high performing team.

YOU WILL

    • Be the trusted partner for all Britelings in this region for all HR and employment-related matters. For example: Mobility & Relocations ER matters, Performance, Policy consulting, development and delivery
    • Support the creation, and drive the implementation, of global and regional people programs, including performance development, engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion commitments, rewards and recognition, in a way that strengthens employee engagement and culture in the region
    • Take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organizational culture in the region, ensuring that the company Values are exemplified
    • Keep senior leaders in the region apprised of regional needs, market trends and the evolving employment landscape, and support building and delivering localized HR solutions that drive business objectives, in partnership with the global BX team
    • Collaborate with regional functional leaders, key stakeholders and with the wider BX team (talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, people operations & systems, and functional HR) to support the design and implement effective and efficient solutions to attract, retain and create a meaningful Briteling experience
    • Ensure policies and procedures are legally compliant, competitive and aligned with our global philosophy and within the regional markets and practices, that are consistently communicated and enforced throughout the Briteling experience
    • Maintain HR records ensuring 100% compliance of Eventbrite India with local statutory requirements and maintaining monthly employee information checklists to be shared with the local legal advisory team
    • Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations by partnering with Legal to propose resolutions
    • Managing employee separation process
    • Drive the continuous improvement agenda to identify and implement process improvements to seek continuous enhancements with a focus on engagement & welfare activities for regional Britelings
    • Supporting building manager capability
    • Prepare HR reports and analytics to support decision making and monitor people metrics.

THE SKILL SET

    • 6 to 8 years of HR experience with comprehensive responsibilities as a HR Generalist in a fast-paced and preferably fast growing global technology company.
    • Experience managing employee relations and familiar with regional labour laws and POSH ACT
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
    • Stakeholder management experience grounded in strong business acumen and HR expertise, including a consultative approach with leaders and managers
    • Experience balancing multiple projects and hands-on work; engaging in the process and also building new processes and programs related to the work with scale in mind
    • Proven expertise in using data to drive solutions and impact; including supporting development of employees, prioritizing objectives, implementing strategic plans, managing employee relations, building and improving practices and policies, measure effectiveness. Also, applying analytics skills to events such as exit surveys and interviews to provide regional perspective to larger scale challenges etc.
    • Self-directed and able to manage several situations simultaneously
    • Experience with DEI projects and applying a lens of diversity, equity and inclusion to the work we do
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and cultural awareness; experience in driving robust change management and implementation plans
    • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with global cross-functional teams and partners across all levels of the organization
    • Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results
    • Understanding and knowledge of the India talent environments and regional employment laws and regulations
    • Familiarity with Workday
    • Calm in the face of uncertainty; comfortable working in a dynamic environment
