Director Learning Delivery -- ADP France

The Director Learning Delivery - ADP France, drives the learning strategy for the ADP France business unit by partnering with senior leadership, business leaders and division stakeholders to ensure that all learning solutions align with ADP's business objectives, support our clients and associates and their human capital management needs.

This position has a country specific scope, supporting Learning Delivery teams for the French market, which includes Learning Consultants and Learning Business Partners and belonging to a matrix organization. Additionally, the Director Learning Delivery will have direct responsibility over the Learning Design, Learning Operations and Learning Project management in France.

In this role, the Learning Delivery Director will work with the Sr. Director Field Learning ESI and the Senior Leadership in ESI Enterprise Learning to drive the learning strategy, working in a high-performing, collaborative environment, driven by the following pillars: trust, communication, accountability, common goals, respect, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides effective management and strategic leadership to ADP France Learning team.
  • Uses data to influence decisions and identify opportunities for continues improvement.
  • Engages as a member of the organization's senior leadership to partner and drive strategic growth, associate retention and development.
  • Builds associate and organization excellence across the entire company in support of needs of all business units and functions and in alignment with ADP Enterprise Learning Strategies and goals.
  • Directly manage the team that supports new hire onboarding and orientation, functional/operational new hire learning, developmental learning, business-specific cross-learning and/or refresher learning.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate internal processes and protocols for effective execution of Learning support for the organization.
  • Determine Learning team talent needs and workload allocation. Motivate the team to achieve individual and team goals by setting performance objectives and standards, monitoring, evaluating and discussing performance.
  • Partner with business leaders and relevant stakeholders to assess learning needs, providing inputs on improving content/curriculum that meets the current knowledge/domain needs.
  • Consults with and communicates with senior management on learning demand and forecast, the effectiveness of delivery, the variety of learning resources and solutions to ensure that business objectives are being met.
  • Understands learning demand and forecast and builds capacity to meet learning requirements of various business verticals.
  • Manages learning specialists and knowledge consultants on the delivery, development/maintenance of classroom, virtual classroom learning material projects and initiatives.
  • Build a high performing learning delivery team through development, coaching, stretch goals, professional learning, special assignments, rewarding and recruiting top talent.
  • Manages the learning delivery revenue plan, budget, facilities, equipment and resources associated with delivery.
  • Collaborate with IT to develop, manage, and maintain technology requirements (learning databases and environment) and applications (LMS, Live Meeting, WebEx,) supporting the successful deployment and administration of learning.
  • Manages the communication and marketing processes necessary to effectively announce and reinforce learning schedules and offerings.
  • Ensures that performance management tools are used to help determine goals, monitor and evaluate performance of associates, implement merits and review cycles, and support developmental and succession planning goals

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, psychology, human resources, behavioral sciences or other related field required or equivalent in education and experience. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Learning leader and current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • 5+ years of Learning & Development experience at a senior leadership level.
  • At least 5 years of progressive learning delivery and development experience.
  • Significant experience on owning a Learning P&L
  • Significant experience in working with a global / multinational organization, Human Capital Management industry preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate the learning teams directly and to use indirect reporting staff to accomplish learning objectives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, project management, facilitation and presentation skills required
  • Native or working proficiency in both French and English languages
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Product Suite (i.e, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), essential.
  • Experience with adult learning theories, conducting needs analysis, design and development, and the development of customized learning plan and solutions.
  • Proven proficiency in prioritizing demand for learning and building capacity to meet the needs
  • Prior experience successfully interacting with multiple business lines and divisions in a global environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict management and mentoring skills.
  • Strong executor -- ability to work in a changing fast paced environment.
  • Passionate about delivering world-class service and satisfaction to all clients -- internal, external, diverse and emerging.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
