Job Description

What is the opportunity?

You will set the product vision, define the strategic roadmap, and deliver on key objectives across Win for Today and Transform for Tomorrow opportunities for the Voice Assistant (IVR), WFM SaaS Cloud (Verint), and Call Recording (Verint) products. You will lead a product team delivering on the vision of becoming a digitally enabled relationship bank of the future through digital innovation. You will lead maturing high-profile Advice Centre products used by clients and advisors/reps for various lines of businesses across the enterprise, while reducing costs, increasing revenue, improving experiences, and collaborating with CBOps, LOB heads, T&O, and Digital.

What will you do?

  • Identify strategic opportunities to mature products, delivering against strategic objectives of CBO and Advice Centre, based on a deep understanding of business KPIs, as well as portfolio and competitive insights
  • Responsible for business casing, and benefit realization, of strategic opportunities delivered under the portfolio
  • Maintain RBC’s competitive advantage for products within this portfolio through researching business and technology trends across industries, and communicating competitive benchmarking and industry insights to various audiences and leadership
  • Understanding customer and advisor touchpoints end to end across the product shelf and beyond, to deliver strategies supporting experiences
  • Assume ‘AC Product and Transformation Representative’ role for the portfolio with key strategic partnerships across CB Ops, Technology and BU teams, ultimately building a cross functional product maturity and execution model
  • Lead and manage a product group, setting clear vision and objectives for the portfolio, while ensuring the team is set up for success to deliver against strategic roadmap
  • Unlock the potential of your people by living the leadership model, and enabling growth and development opportunities for direct report(s)
  • Act as business relationship manager for various third-party technology vendors, responsible for strategic alignment, MBR/QBRs, and ongoing business vendor management activities

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 2+ years in financial innovation tech/strategy experience
  • Degree or extensive related work experience

Nice-to-have

  • External experience in Consulting companies, ideally technology consulting
  • MBA
