What are we looking for DAZN-X is actively building the operations support team in Hyderabad, India. The team will include professional technical support engineers who will be responsible for the platform’s SLO, KPIs, SLAs according to the business requirements. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, leading the operations staff, and implementing efficient processes and systems. The Operations Support Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, including finance, human resources, IT,engineering, and product to optimize operational efficiency and drive business success.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Manage Operational Support: Oversee and direct the activities of the operations support team, including setting goals, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to ensure timely and effective support for operational functions.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflow.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, such as finance, human resources, IT, Engineering and Product to align operational processes and ensure smooth coordination and communication across the organization.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes. Regularly monitor and analyse data to identify trends, address issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Staff Development: Provide leadership and guidance to the operations support team, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes growth and development.
- Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement appropriate controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships to support operational needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to operational support. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, and lead initiatives to implement changes.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports, presentations, and documentation related to operational activities, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives. Present findings to senior management and stakeholders as required.
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- At least 5 years of managing an operations team, handling live traffic on machine critical platforms.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
- A proven track record of excellence in forming, shaping and building operations team to meet high standard of
- Excellent knowledge and experience with monitoring and logging stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana , DataDog or NewRelic
- Strong experience working on live applications with a continuous feature & content release cycle.
- Experience with configuration-management / automation frameworks like GitHub, Terraform, Vault, Consul and CI/CD tooling and methodologies
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- A mature and professional individual who is self-motivating and enthusiastic that is performance orientated.
- Ability to make difficult decisions and to work under pressure and with frequent changing priorities
