Job Description

Editorial Assistant plays an important role in delivering DAZN’s fascinating sports programs which leads to excellent customer satisfaction. This role is divided into 2 parts: “editorial” and “operational”. はじめに Platform Editorは、当社が提供する「DAZN」を利用する視聴者に対し、確実に配信するための重要な役割を担い、スポーツコンテンツを魅力的に伝えます。大きく分けて、オペレーション、エディトリアルという2種類の仕事があります。

業務内容

• オペレーション
• ストリーミング配信の流れをスムーズに進行させるためのタスクを担当します。試合やイベントのスケジューリング、品質管理、及び配信プロセスのトラブルシューティング等が含まれます。
• DAZNのサービス上で配信されるすべての番組における、各試合のタイトルの記載、配信の設定、画像の選択といった基本的な作業は、すべて Platform Editorが行います。社内CMS等(コンテンツマネージメントシステム)を使いこなし、海外の関連チームと英語(主にメール)で連携を図りながら、スケジュール通りに業務を進行します。
• 日々の業務の中で急遽の依頼に応じて設定の各種変更対応をすることも多いため、土日を含めた週7日、24時間4交代制のシフト勤務になっています。また配信に不具合があった際の再配信などの突発的な対応も時には求められるため、社内システムの深い理解、プロデューサーや配信運行チームとスムーズに連携できるコミュニケーション力が求められます
• エディトリアル
• スポーツコンテンツを魅力的に伝えるためのタスクを担当します。試合のハイライトやプレイヤーの特集、新規コンテンツの企画、そして視聴者に対する情報の発信等が含まれます。
• DAZNで配信されるすべての番組(スポーツの生中継やハイライト、ドキュメンタリーなど)について、その中身を視聴者に対して魅力的に伝える短いキャプション(70~100字程度)を書きます。
• 各試合のポイントを短い文章で的確かつ魅力的に伝えるために、そのスポーツへの高い関心と興味が求められます。その時最も旬な話題を、そのスポーツ初心者にも分かるよう伝えることで視聴者の心をつかみ、当社が提供するDAZNの価値と声価を高めることが主な仕事となります。書いた経験があることが望ましいですが、スポーツに対する興味や知識のある方なら大歓迎です。
• また、 Platform Editorは社内の様々な部門と連携して働く役割も担います。対象は各スポーツの制作を担当するプロデューサーやDAZNの魅力を外に広めていくマーケティングチーム、視聴者と直接対話するカスタマーサービスなど。コミュニケーション能力と協調性、視聴者に提供するコンテンツに対する理解と関心、広い視野が必要となります。
• DAZN PlatformのUIはPlatform Editorの経験やセンスに大きく左右されるため、サムネイルの作成にあたってはデザインに関する知見が求められます。
• 海外サッカーを中心に欧州で開催されるライブイベントに対応するため、夜から翌朝にかけての深夜勤務を含みます。チーム自体が原則24時間365日稼働しています。

必要なスキル

• マルチタスクをこなす能力
• 課題解決のための独立した思考力と創造力
• CMS等(コンテンツマネージメントシステム)の作業適性(類似システムでのオペレーション経験があれば尚可)
• ワード、エクセル、パワーポイントといったPCの基本ソフトを扱うスキル
• 基礎的な英語力(とくにライティング&リーディング)
• 様々なスポーツに関する優れた知識や関心(主要選手やチームの知識)、特に海外サッカーへの興味
• 試合の見所を的確に見抜く洞察力
• 静止画や動画の編集ソフトや音声フォーマットに関する知識/経験
• 土日夜間を含めたシフト勤務に耐えられる体力

• OTT動画サービスや、そのより良いワークフロー構築への関心や興味
• 短い文字数で視聴者の心をつかむ文章力 - 初歩的なニュース記事を書いた経験(英語記事の翻訳などではなく、自分でゼロから生み出して書いたもの)
• Adobe Photoshop、illustratorを使ったビジュアルのレイアウトやデザイン経験があれば、なお可
