Job Description

C.H. Robinson in Amsterdam is currently looking for a Cargo Security & Process Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for assessing carriers, monitoring shipment routes, conducting screenings and audits, identifying risks, and contributing to process improvement. Responsibilities:

• Ongoing qualification & assessment of the existing carrier base
• Ongoing development and monitoring of shipment routes and secure parking locations
• Internal & external carrier data analysis, along with indirect carrier communication
• Conduct proactive carrier screenings and audits to ensure Customer SOP compliance
• Identify risks, define and then monitor corrective actions (continuous improvement)
• Assist with establishing a prequalified carrier list & assessment scorecard
• Document and contribute to the future state design, including process mapping, change management, identifying improvement opportunities, and technology integration
• Transfer knowledge and train operations team on cargo security SOP’s
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and changes to all relevant stakeholders

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years’ experience in the logistics industry in a project management/analytical role
• Strong analytical and process focus
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) tools is essential
• Fluency in English, any other language is beneficial

Preferred:

• Strong documentation, communication and presentation skills
• Strong in relationship management with varying levels of stakeholders
• Experienced in leading meetings and group discussions and speaking in public
• Self-starter and independent performer with a strong customer focus
• Experience in facilitating projects within logistics industry is an asset
• Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) specialist or good knowledge of it
