Job Description

ADP is hiring a Operations Technical Analyst II. In this position you will respond to Adjustment requests for issue resolution that may require calculating and posting corrections to the SunGard recordkeeping system. CS Technical Analyst determines appropriate corrective action to resolve issues and minimize impact to clients and E&O. Issues may vary from basic and administrative to complex and technical in nature. Duties include: submitting manual trades, reconciling plan and trust activities. Documents notes and outcomes in Adjustment Database and PowerImage system. Meets internal SLAs for response times. Acts as key resource for internal and external business units. Acts as an SME or represent the business in projects and initiatives. E and O trend analysis and recommends solutions for continuous improvement May have some client contact depending on work type and job level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receives Adjustment requests issue resolution via Power Image queue from various Retirement Services teams such as: CS, Terms and Transfers, FITE, New Business, Compliance, Payroll, Systems and Operations.
  • Determines appropriate corrective action to resolve issues and minimize impact to clients.
  • Corrects system data as appropriate.
  • Submits manual trade tickets and reconciles plan and trust activities.
  • Documents notes and outcomes in Adjustment database and PowerImage.
  • Meets internal SLAs for response times.
  • Demonstrates strong technical expertise and successfully navigates through all systems and properly utilizes each system to its full potential i.e. Omni, Adjustment Database, CTS, MTUP, PES, Plan Sponsor Website, LUMIN and KBASE.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the use and application of systems needed to be effective and shares this knowledge with others.
  • Brings substantive conflict and disagreements into the open and attempts to resolve them, escalating them to management when appropriate.
  • Makes procedural or process suggestions for achieving team goals/performing functions.
  • Develops and applies knowledge of the business, products, systems and technology, including updating procedures and LUMIN.
  • Demonstrates possession of and uses cross-functional/ departmental knowledge.
  • Acts as knowledge resource for others by providing either informal or formal technical support as needed.
  • Exhibits working knowledge of 401K , call center, Client Service , Financial Control and Check writing within RS.
  • Aptitude to grasp new concepts or tools by actively learning.
  • Demonstrates commitment to action and risk tolerance.
  • Makes decisions based on available resources, constraints and organizational values.
  • Manages own adjustment requests and reviews the adjustment requests of others as needed: follows up with adjustment requestor in a timely manner.
  • Working on smaller projects which include -- OFA fixes, fund and participant deletes.
  • Create and run standard T933 and T966 calculator report transactions.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in education and experience with a Major Area of Concentration in Math, Computer Science, Business, or Accounting
  • 3 -- 5 Years Minimum 2-3 years of successful experience as an Operations Technical Analyst I or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Demonstrates strong oral/written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong listening skills.
  • Utilizes tools to support daily functions such as Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • Demonstrates ability to learn other proprietary system tools (Omni Plus, Power Image, and Clarify).
  • Proficiency in using payroll and recordkeeping systems
  • Ability to learn quickly, function in a fast paced environment, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven relationship-building skills.
  • Strong time-mgmt, organization and problem solving skills.
