We are looking for a dynamic, highly focused Training Specialist to conduct existing specific product and software application training to new and existing Yardi employees and clients!

What you will do

• Use your training expertise to conduct product and software orientation and training programs for employees and/or clients
• Support training participants in assimilating knowledge, understanding how to solve problems that may occur using the software programs, and provide guidance for using the programs in concert with communicating with clients
• Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups and individually
• Meet training schedules and defined project timelines for training and Go-Live implementations that require set-up and run-though training
• Respond to employee and/or client product and software functionality and set-up questions
• Provide direction with respect to software set-up and implementation by gathering the necessary information to provide value-added direction and counsel (e.g., Go-Live set-up/implementations/post Go-Live support)
• Follow-up with training participants to ensure full- utilization of software capability to ensure the successful transfer of knowledge into practice
• Support project timelines and milestone requirements are met; perform needs analyses; communicate project information; update cross-functional team members or clients; effectively engage individuals needed to successfully complete projects
• Research and resolve software or product issues and when appropriate, escalate unresolved issues to appropriate individuals for resolution
• Facilitate instruction through web-based course content, online webinars, face-to-face instructor-led courses, Go-Live implementations/set-ups, individual phone or face-to-face coaching sessions
• Instruct participants on technology, product and industry knowledge
• Communicate subject matter effectively by properly understanding the needs of the audience and targeting the sessions to meet their education level and skill
• Create course content and ancillary training materials according to defined learning objectives
• Up to 25% travel or as business needs dictate

What you need to have

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related area (Business, Finance, Math, Computer/Engineering Sciences, or product-related field) or equivalent industry experience
• Three (3) to five (5) years of training or educational experience required
• Two (2) years relevant industry, field or software experience
• · Demonstrates initiative to obtain greater understanding and knowledge about the industry, software and/or specific client needs; offers to take the lead to seek solutions to difficult problem or assist others with projects
• In-depth knowledge of an industry/field and/or product and software domain
• Proven ability to engage and transfer knowledge with long lasting results
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to positively and effectively interact with others and the ability to teach and coach others
• Proven client-centered commitment and focus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
• Proven strong ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
