The Opportunity:

Are you fascinated by High Performance Computing (HPC) systems? Components within these systems can be difficult to track, which makes these networks also difficult to manage and troubleshoot. There is a need for creating robust and adaptable network analysis frameworks for assessing these supercomputing infrastructures from both macro and micro levels.

As a data scientist and researcher, you will find semi-analytical solutions for universally labeling a continuum spectrum of networks, focusing on their combinatorial characteristics via examining their limiting behavior, where the functional properties of networks, including graceful networks, are explored. You will also examine the effects of nodal frequency, using several classes of networks as examples. The results of this work will help to provide better lifecycle management of supercomputing systems by promoting better troubleshooting capabilities to manage their behavior.

You Have:

• Experience with conducting research
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages
• Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Summer 2023 or Summer 2024

Nice If You Have:

• Knowledge of Python and C++ preferred
• Ability to communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, CS, Engineering, or a related IT field preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
