POSITION SUMMARY
As the Airport Coordinator, the primary function is to achieve counter sales goals and business objectives through:
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales-Related Responsibilities (70%):
1) Retail Sales
· Work with Sales & Education Executive (SEE) on goals and targets for BAs.
· Conduct regular counter meetings to give direction and keep BAs updated on counter sales.
· Responsible for regular report on sell-through figures, tracking of new launches and update on commentary report.
· Support TR Maxx selling through coaching of BAs.
· Ensure that all BAs meet the brand standards e.g. IPT / AUS
· Have effective coordination and follow up at store level to execute details of HPPs and promotional programs.
2) Efficient Management of Daily Counter Operations and General Administration
· Builds and maintains strong relationships with colleagues, management, host retailer, and internal/external stakeholders
· Supervise daily counter duties such as housekeeping, merchandising, ensuring availability of stocks, testers and printed materials – Follow global visual merchandising guideline.
· Ensure schedules are completed and issued on time, ensuring optimum staffing levels on selling floor
· Management of part-timers and promoters
· Management of Generic Staff (GS) incentives
3) Management of Stock Inventory
· Identify products that are slow and develop weekly push list of items for concentrated selling
· Maintain a current list of out-of-stock items.
· Prepare monthly basic and back-up orders and feedback to Sales & Education Executive on low stock items.
Education (30%) - Train and develop Beauty Advisors:
1) Development and Management of Counter Staff
· Engage with BA through both Virtual Learning Tools and in-store meetings, providing training and coaching on general selling skills such as customer service, upselling/cross-selling, and productivity improvement. Ensure that BA consistently deliver prompt, polite, and personable service, in line with the MAC Experience.
· Coach BA on brand stories, hero products, and other important brand-specifics for ELC brands close by on the sales floor
· Utilize E-learning platforms, including brand-agnostic content, to coach BAs towards improving customer experience and sales productivity (e.g MMX & TRU)
· Ensure that BAs maintain high personal grooming standards as set by the brand.
· Ensure weekly submission of social media postings by BA
· Manage disciplinary matters and offer required guidance and counseling
· Collaborate and contribute valuable insights to the Sales & Education Executive regarding appraisals for BA
· Provide assistance to Education team on BA and GS training
· Coach and motivate BAs based on individual talents and skills to drive sales objectives and brand equity
