For more information, please visit www.grail.com . GRAIL is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Marketing Associate Director for the in-market Galleri product. The Associate Director will be a highly strategic, solutions-oriented, collaborative, professional capable of shaping GRAIL’s strategic approach, marketing platform, internal processes, and resourcing model in order to accelerate growth of the Firefighters, EMS workers and First Responders business segment (FD/EMS). You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, medical, customer success, legal and regulatory to drive increased success in this large, rapidly expanding new customer channel. You Will

    • Operate as an internal-facing channel lead, coordinating across multiple internal stakeholder groups to manage FD/EMS channel pipeline and support field team in developing tailored content and implementation solutions to support effective pull-through and execution with local & national FD customers
    • Coordinate with Area Director and DM field leadership to target key fire department opportunities, prepare strategic sales & marketing presentations for prospective customers, develop new marketing tools and resources, and facilitate across local clinic sales team and the O’Connor cares consultant group
    • Be responsible for maintaining a clear view of the channel pipeline and reporting internally on performance and forecast expectations as they evolve for the channel.
    • The role may expand to ownership and oversight of the implementation process as the customer base grows and dedicated implementation resources are assigned.
    • Build, own, and maintain strong relationships with field leadership and provide consultative advice to enhance the effectiveness of firefighter engagements across the customer pool.
    • Ensure overall alignment with customer strategy, and work with a cross-functional internal team to develop a winning execution plan, including developing plans for how to incorporate distributors and producers associated with the customer.
    • As a coach, lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver an effective programs to customers, including coordination, problem solving, and innovation projects amongst GRAIL’s sales team, operations, legal, finance, marketing, business development, and product management teams

Your Background Should Include

    • Bachelor’s Degree with12 or more years of work experience or Masters/or advanced Life Sciences degree with 10 years experience
    • Demonstrated track record of success in a commercial or business development role and at least 8 years of broad-based experience in diagnostics and/or biopharma industries.
    • Strong written and verbal communication, including a strong track record in stakeholder management, managing both internal C-Suite executives and providing direction to large field-based teams; strong executive presence and be comfortable and credible interfacing within the “C-suite”, including executives out of the healthcare industry.
    • Internal-facing marketing and cross-functional collaboration skills are critical - the successful candidate will be able to work effectively in ambiguity
    • Rapidly innovate to find solutions to emerging market trends, including new requirements introduced by prospective and current customer needs, identifying and prioritizing solutions to ongoing success. Determine which solutions should be customized at the customer level vs. set up for scale.
    • Set a high bar for the team to drive operational excellence for customers, seeking opportunities to continuously refine GRAIL’s offerings/programs. Key performance indicators include overall segment health and revenue growth and retention, with initial focus on driving pull through of tests for eligible fire departments and developing a viable self-pay pathway for individual firefighters use.
The expected, full-time, annual base pay scale for this position is $154,000 - $205,000. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience, and location. Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or an incentive plan. We also offer a long-term incentive plan to align company and colleague success over time.
