Job Description

As a (Senior) RF Engineer, you will lead the effort to develop, debug, and verify wireless features in Logitech products, confirming that those features perform at a level that meets Logitech's standards for high quality wireless equipment in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies.

  • Architecture of RF subsystems with radio transceivers.
  • Architecture of RF subsystems with multiple co-existent radio transceivers.
  • Evaluation of RF subsystems performance:
    • antenna frequency response and 3D patterns
    • radio sensitivity
    • interference response
    • link performance, variance across environmental extremes.
  • Design, simulation, and evaluation of antennas in audio and gaming devices
  • Working with suppliers to integrate next-generation solutions into our products.
  • Evaluation of regulatory validation test results, resolution of issues.
  • Supporting manufacturing and test (MTE/TDE) to ensure consistent performance.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred)
  • 1-4+ years consumer electronics product design and analysis experience

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge in RF Circuit Design and Signal processing techniques from job experience is a major plus.
  • Good theoretical and practical understanding of basic RF Engineering and general principles, including digital modulation and demodulation.
  • Solid understanding of RF performance specifications and test methodology.
  • Experience with common RF simulation and electromagnetic simulation tools (HFSS).
  • Experience with lab equipment such as VNAs, Oscilloscopes and Spectrum Analyzers.
  • Experience with protocol level analysis is a huge plus.
  • RF Desense evaluation experience.
  • Positive attitude, and experience working in a matrixed team environment with multiple product streams

Location

  • Portland Metro Area (Camas, WA)
  • This job requires 4-5 days of in-lab presence per week
  • Occasionally, there can be hybrid work from home flexibility

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 95,000- $ 135,000

In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
