About the Team Fanatics Authentic provides the world’s largest selection of licensed sports memorabilia and collectibles! Our division is licensed by all the major professional sports leagues, player and team associations, and universities that supply 100% genuine product authentication to our fans. We offer once-in-a-lifetime “Fanatics Exclusive Athlete” event experiences providing fans the opportunity to interact with their favorite athletes at a Meet-and-Greet, Watch Party, Suite Experience, or Chalk Talk/ Q&A session. Our Game-Used partnerships have given us the ability to create the most exclusive products such as player and team gear directly from the arena or field, playing surfaces, and actual equipment. Primary Purpose This position entails being the execution of memorabilia signings and events. This position will support and serve as a key on the execution and relationship before, during, and after signings/events with various departments, NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA teams, professional athletes, and agents. This individual must be able to work with other business units within Fanatics. Duties and Responsibili ties Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Assist and lead in the execution of athlete signings, events, and virtual events •Assist game used asset tracking and process for exclusive athletes . •Oversee send in process with vendor/third party vendors for signings and monthly recap reports •Oversee athlete/agent charity and donation requests and monthly recap reports •Communicate effectively and professionally with athletes and agents •Reconciliation of monthly expense reports/receipts for signings •Maintain a professional demeanor at all times as the company’s representative during the signing process •Nights, weekends, and extensive travel required for position. Education and Experience Requirements •Bachelor’s Degree preferred •Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) •Superior communication skills on various levels. Must have articulate speech, proper business writing skills, ability to listen to client and quickly address any concerns •Work well under pressure. This industry is often driven by hot market events which require short lead-time negotiation and coordination to deliver finished product during the critical time periods •Sports knowledge a must Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone. •Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds •Must be able to stand 8 to 12 hours per day if attending signings or events •May be expected to walk up to several miles a day at off-site events •Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone Tryouts are open at Fanatics!
