This role will be based at Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX or our other main facility in Orlando, FL working a 4/10 Flex schedule with telework >= 50%. This position requires ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.
What You’ll Do:
• Support the Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Scaled Implementation Team which will be deployed to provide MBSE tools, templates, training, and process to both Dallas and Orlando.
• Use an entrepreneurial spirit, broad systems thinking and excellent communication skills to collaborate across business areas and functional organizations to accomplish strategic goals while navigating uncertainty.

Basic Qualifications:
• Developing models in both SysML and UAF environments.
• Previous system design of a product through various program phases.
• Systems design tools DOORS and/or Cameo or Rhapsody.
• US Citizen, ability to obtain Secret level clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to lead/coach a team of architects through a modeling effort.
• Strong Systems Engineering skills.
• Familiarity with the Product Development Process and Systems Engineering Engineering Practices Manuals, and a mastery of the systems engineering 'why' behind the steps.
• Experience architecting weapon or sensor systems.
• Working on an Agile team.
• Ability to break down complex system design tasks for team members to work on.
• Ability to mentor team members on requirements and best practices.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
