About the Job
Support the Executive Director with the management, development, and implementation of the Face product portfolio, innovation pipeline and product marketing strategy by Face subcategory (Foundation, Powders, Concealer, Corrector) and key hero franchises to enhance brand story and drive growth and market share gains in priority channels and regions. Lead and develop direct report.
About Your Responsibilities
Innovate products and concepts that create new business opportunities
- Lead innovative product development and pipeline strategy to support brand's strategic direction, including focus in fast-growing Face subcategories, hero products, and brand-building re-promotes/ reanimation of heroes.
- Creator mindset, always seeking what’s new, different, better about new product innovation and commercial opportunities to create and bring more competitive products to market—aggressively winning share in key Face subcategories.
- Harness insights to create new product and new commercial opportunities based on findings from clinical and sensory claims, consumer behavior, social listening, CRM data and transposition from other industries.
- Assist ED in development of 3-year innovation strategy and 18-month detailed calendar including new product innovation and new claims/ storytelling pipeline to support and grow our heroes.
- Responsible for owning NPL process and key milestone accountability for Face- proactive retro-planning for deadline adherence, with specific focus on Gates 0-3, as well as the ability to navigate and rally cross functionals to achieve the business goals.
- Responsible for ideating new storytelling angles (claims, commercial, etc.) around hero products to re-animate, recruit and drive consumer love.
Product strategy that drives business and reinforces brand equity
- Lead execution of product marketing strategy including product architecture, pricing strategy, and SKU management.
- Make recommendations to seize market based on analysis, consumer insights and commercial opportunities – integrate into NPL and with CE.
- Manage ad hoc business analysis requests as needed.
Launch plans that incorporate 360 elements
- Manage end-to-end launch process, from product selection to go-to-market strategies focused on the consumer journey to with an online first mindset – understanding the digital journey from upper to lower funnel activations.
- Drive development of creative briefs in collaboration with CE and Insights for all programs and launches.
- Write concepts for insight-based consumer concept testing with external agencies twice a year.
- Manage strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to develop launch strategies and product briefs.
Champion, drive, and build emerging marketing trends and technology capabilities to meet customers where they are
- Nurture an environment that rewards the exploration and implementation of new marketing technologies across digital, mobile, and omnichannel platforms to enhance the customer experience and drive brand engagement in new and innovative ways.
- Remain relentlessly up to date on emerging and future trends across all relevant industries to identify and grow business opportunities.
Finance and Budget Management
- Lead COG targets and management; responsible for reporting into finance and senior management that minimizes ineffective spend and maximized ROI.
- Manage costs across agencies and technology platform spend.
- Manage marketing ROI by optimizing content and channel marketing investments.
Leverage key insights gleaned from a refined analytics practice to inform decisions
- Manage analytics usage throughout the function accomplish strategic goals.
- Leverage data to inform decision-making for strategy development and adjustments as necessary.
- Lead team to track platform engagement and effectiveness through appropriate analytical tools.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $113,500 to $195,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
