The Pitch

As a Retail Operations Manager in our Commercial Team, you'll be responsible to drive sales performance and customer experience within our company’s Free Standing Stores.

The Role
This is a great opportunity to join the team, based in Athens. The role reports to the National Sales Manager. You'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and leading the Retail Sales targets by district & by brand
  • Developing top door strategy in conjunction with the Commercial Director, National Sales Manager and Brand Managers
  • Monitoring the FSS channel performance, taking actions when needed, in collaboration with retail and brand teams
  • Managing integrated store operations support to FSS across retail Brands to enable an evolved 360 consumer experience in partnership with the brands
  • Overseing the profitable growth of the FSS Retail Channel while ensuring all FSS locations are adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Managing & coaching effectively the Store Managers

What Do I Need?

Detailed, organised, and a drive to succeed! We’re looking for someone who has the ability to adapt to the demands and is passionate about building relationships and working in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for someone who has a deep understanding of store operations and previous business planning experience including setting sales targets, sales analysis, staff scheduling, budget management, inventory and facilities management. Also, proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets would be very useful. It's a busy role, and we'll expect you to fit a lot in to your day - so, you'll need to be well planned and efficient in your approach to your work, and flexible and adaptable to the various demands of the role. Building relationships is a key part of this role, as you'll be dealing with a wide variety of brands and people - and will need to be able to adapt to their individual needs. Finally, you'll have the chance to have an independent work approach, but will also be committed to supporting, managing, coaching and developing your team, going above and beyond to contribute effectively to team success.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field is required. MBA would be considered an asset
  • At least five years of proven work experience as an Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager or similar Senior Sales Management role.
  • Proven retail management and retail operations experience preferably within cosmetics / perfumery / luxury.
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
  • Strong Numerical & IT skills.
  • Availability to travel as needed.
  • Full and valid driving license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
