Eaton’s Electrical Sector, Critical Power & Digital Infrastructure (CPDI) Division is currently seeking a Scheduling & Dispatch Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at our Raleigh, NC or Richmond, VA locations.

Position Overview:

The Customer Support Representative-Scheduling & Dispatch, is responsible for the scheduling & dispatch of service, supporting Eaton’s Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) customer base. This position will require continuous customer interface to meet customer expectations and to create a positive customer experience. This is a 24/7 business environment and requires working a rotational weekend (Saturday & Sunday), and/or holiday schedule.

In this function you will:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support services to organizational units.
  • Schedule service requests in compliance with warranty, contractual, or time and material compliance while meeting customer deadlines.
  • Manage service requests from internal and external customers with emphasis on error free management and same day order entry.
  • Expedite orders to ensure customer expectations are met and/or exceeded.
  • Proactively communicate with both internal and external customers regarding order verification, order status, pricing and shipment information.
  • Work directly with interfacing departments to ensure order fulfillment.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and communications in professional manner to effectively summarize data.
  • Effectively implement processes designed to deliver world class customer service.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a customer-facing role is required.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC or Richmond, VA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficient with computer and software tools - including Excel, advanced database knowledge (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle Service, OBIEE) and other PQD related software programs.
  • Previous experience in call center, and/or customer interfacing work environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high volume technical call center
