Join our EMEA Carrier Channel team

The Partner Account Executive (PAE) will be responsible for selling Akamai's Secure Internet Access (SIA) solutions aimed at residential, SMB, and Enterprise markets with multiple Akamai's mobile and fixed-line broadband Carrier partners in Mexico. PAE will be based in Mexico City and should be able to travel across the country to generate sales through the partner's regional teams.

As a Carrier Partner Account Executive, you will manage our strategic Carrier channel sales through business partners. You will enable partner sales teams to effectively position Akamai's services. Your responsibility is the execution of the agreed go-to-market plan with Akamai's partners in Mexico.

As a Partner Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing indirect sales of Security leveraging Akamai partnerships with Carriers.
  • Building relationships with Carrier's sales teams aimed at setting strategies and actions to generate pipeline.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on Akamai SIA solutions to effectively identify potential partnerships with other Carriers.
  • Creating and managing a sales pipeline with forecast accuracy to prospective customers in collaboration with Carrier partners.
  • Mapping Carrier partners organizations, identifying key players and roles to accelerate new sales through their sales organizations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams of sales engineers to ensure successful consultative engagements with prospects and end-users.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Possess insight of Cybersecurity technology industry.
  • Possess BS in Engineering in areas related to IT, Data Science, or Telecommunications.
  • Have a proven ability to find new customers by leveraging Carriers' sales organizations.
  • Have proven successful sales track record and quota achievement in indirect sales roles.
  • Possess solid experience outside Security Sales experience, in Carriers sales organizations.
  • Be skilled to build long-term relationships with both Carrier partners and enterprise end-users.
  • Have proven experience training sales and presales teams to show the value of security solutions.
