Description:This position operates as a Financial Management Analyst in Lexington, KY and reports directly to the SOF Platform Sustainment Business Operations Manager. The employee works in the business operations organization supporting program/product areas. Performs activities that drive efficient planning and execution of financials and resource analysis (FTE's) across various functions, including but not limited to engineering operations, supply chain, program management, sustainment, business finance, and/or planning/scheduling on the Rotary & SOF Systems platforms. Oversees the task order business rhythm execution driving Earned Value performance metrics and EAC analysis and assessments. Performs one or more multiple financial activities within various finance job functions (weekly, monthly, quarterly internal and external reporting). Compiles and reviews budgets using actual performance, previous budget figures, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration. Performs multiple financial cost analysis functions, including cost allocation, setting up cost control systems, collecting data, controlling costs, and preparing reports that maintain the company's cost accounting system. Ensures that costs are allocated according to established procedures. Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong finance/accounting skills.
Possess strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with high-level personnel in the organization such as Sr. Managers
Ability to work independently and meet hard deadlines
Strong MS Office proficiency skills: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field.

Experience with SAP
Experience with Deltek Cobra
Process improvement mindset and strategic thinking
Experience with Microsoft Excel VBA
Experience working with Earned Value Management tools and analysis
Masters degree in finance/accounting or related field
Currently has a secret clearance
