Summary

Too Faced is hiring a Packaging Designer to join their Packaging Design Team. This person will help develop new and creative packaging design solutions for Too Faced products & launches. The ideal candidate has experience in packaging, loves illustration with the ability to execute & mimic the Too Faced style and has strong typography skills. Projects can range from packaging – primary & secondary, illustrations, social mailers, sampling programs, branded accessories, and cosmetics bags. This position reports directory into the Director of Packaging. The position is based in our Corporate HQ office in Irvine, CA. Too Faced is a Hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Be up-to-date and aware of current graphic, type, fashion, and beauty trends.
• Work with the Director of Packaging to further develop designs and execute strategy.
• Concept and collaborate with team to create innovated packaging/branding solutions.
• Design and develop packaging from concept to production.
• Design with sustainable design practices in mind.
• Prepare, package and spec files for all assigned projects.
• Follow workflow and sign-off protocols to ensure final deliverables are error-free.
• Meet deadlines daily and multitask.
• Be adaptable to changes in project direction, priorities, and deadlines.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Packaging Development, Product Development, & Marketing) to ensure designs are meeting time, cost, and objectives.

Qualifications

For consideration, candidates must include a portfolio showcasing their design work.

• B.A. or B.F.A. in Graphic Design.
• 3+ years of relevant experience. In beauty or fashion is a plus!
• Strong Graphic Designer with an exquisite taste level & experience in Packaging Design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) Experience with 3D rendering software is a plus.
• Highly organized self-starter who understands how to balance multiple projects and keep projects moving.
• Ability to illustrate in a style that complements/mimics the Too Faced Brand.
• Strong Typography Skills.
• Knowledge in various packaging types, materials & production methods.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate design and vision.
• Team player (ability to work with immediate team members and cross functional partners).

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $59,500 to $89,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
