Senior Associate, Core Advisory Operations

Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Core Advisory Operations to join our Advisory Services organization.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in Advisory-wide strategic initiatives or projects as assigned by national Operations Leadership
• Support the development of communications, standard operating procedures, guidelines, and reference materials to aid rollout of strategic initiatives
• Maintain practice wide collaboration sites and update pertinent reference materials as needed on site; triage complex requests related to policy exceptions and facilitate escalations with leadership to resolve issues as necessary
• Work across internal teams such as DASC, Controller’s office, and Advisory Operations to resolve expense management questions
• Collaborate with the leadership team to design and implement processes and guidelines to support more streamlined approach to expense management requests
• Field questions, generally requiring research for solution, from Advisory professionals in centralized Expense Management Outlook mailbox related to expense management issues

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of public accounting, finance, or general business operations experience; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related degree from an accredited college/university
• Ability to exercise independent judgment to make day to day decisions with minimal supervision
• Capacity to think outside of the box for creative solutions, leveraging research on policy
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, negotiation and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Power Point, Outlook as well as Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using data visualization tool(s) (Power BI)
