Manager, National Pursuits - Scoping and Workflow

Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, National Pursuits - Scoping and Workflow to join our Growth & Strategy organization.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a resourcing manager for KPMG’s National Pursuit Resource Center (NPRC) proposal support team

• Responsible for reviewing new proposal requests and managing the assignment of writers within the KPMG proposal team based in the US, India, and Jamaica

• Have a good understanding of the service offerings of the firm and the marketing concepts behind effective proposal development

• Collaborate within the firm to gather and address relevant feedback, resolve concerns, problem solve related issues

• Evaluation of new opportunities, project management of NPRC proposal pipeline, updates to the proposal tracking system, and the ability to negotiate resources and/or communicate with firm professionals to effectively serve our internal clients and enable the firm to win new business

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of demonstrated project management, proposal development, and marketing experience in a similar professional services or corporate environment

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college/university, masters a plus

• Experience in business development, preparing proposals, project management, marketing

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively project manage multiple assignments concurrently; strong writing and editing skills

• An understanding of the proposal process and responding to RFPs along with the ability to teach and train on those concepts; effective relationship management skills and ability to work with individuals of a different culture

• An aptitude towards flexibility and change management, detailed oriented, and willingness to learn new skills; advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar computer skills required, SharePoint experience a plus
