Manager, Federal Program Management

Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of engagement activities in compliance with firm and practice unit service delivery standards
• Provide support to clients Program Management Office (PMO) division
• Maintain Strategic Objectives and ensure they are aligned to client / engagement goals
• Prepare and maintain program schedules, documentation, provide support reviews, briefings, and other meetings
• Build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and networking in professional organizations
• Participate in business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal response
• Contribute to the development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital including articles, whitepapers, and training efforts

Qualifications:

• A minimum of five years of relevant work experience related federal program management; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• Demonstrated Project Management experience, leading teams with diverse skill sets
• Demonstrated skills and leadership in Strategic Planning and Execution
• Deep understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues
• U.S. citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal government Top Secret security clearance
