We are looking for a Professional Services Consultant to join our EMEA Professional Services team, reporting to the Manager of EMEA Professional Services. In this role, you will focus on the successful configuration of Infoblox solutions to meet the specific business requirements for individual customers—this includes data migration from existing solutions, integrating Infoblox with a variety of partners with incoming and outgoing API, and the design and architecting of solutions that meet the specific customer needs.

You’re the ideal candidate if you are a self-starter with a proven record of being able to work both independently and with a team—sharing responsibilities, ideas and knowledge player—all while delivering multiple projects simultaneously.

What you’ll do:

• Develop an understanding of the security and business requirements supported by the Infoblox solution around DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
• Carry out comprehensive implementation plans designed to migrate customers from their current architecture to their new Infoblox architecture
• Understand the SaaS imperative of getting customers to use their new Infoblox solutions and gaining tangible value from it
• Develop deep knowledge of the unique set of discovery tools Infoblox has for networks both in the cloud and on customer premises, giving the customer and unrivalled source of authoritative IPAM
• Be a trusted advisor on Infoblox security solutions and best practice implementation
• Build out Infoblox installation, both in cloud and customer data centers
• Migrate data from customers’ current systems to Infoblox solutions
• Develop integrations using, Python, Perl, and other API tools
• Perform pre-migration testing and implementation process validation

What you’ll bring:

• 3+ years of experience in application development or integration experience
• 3+ years of experience deploying/managing DNS/DHCP in an enterprise environment
• Knowledge of the DNS threat landscape and appropriate mitigations, and ideally experience with Infoblox or other DDI products (VitalQIP, Efficient IP, Bluecat, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of DNS and DHCP protocols, including experience and understanding of DNS and DHCP implementation on Linux or AD
• Experience with SaaS application delivery
• Knowledge of routing, switching, and SNMP to underpin discovery deployments
• Knowledge of writing and using either Python, Perl, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, and Google) and virtualization
• Strong communication skills, including both oral and written in English are a must—a second European language a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal groups such as Professional Services, Engineering, and Sales, as well as with customers
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

What success looks like

Within six months, you will...

• Develop working relationships with Product Management, Technical Marketing, Engineering, and Support
• Understand how to engage with account teams and customer stakeholders
• Use the Infoblox DDI Migration process, Infoblox APIs, and discovery tools
• Work with project managers and customers to deliver Infoblox DDI projects, demonstrating the value of Infoblox BloxOne and NIOS solutions

After about a year, you will...

• Be able to complete DDI Migration, discovery projects and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your customer projects
• Actively contribute to the team in terms of best practices, technical knowledge, and process improvements
• Begin to work on design and analysis project work—giving customers expert advice on the best way to use their Infoblox installation, including assisting with integrations and API tasks
• Occasionally work on customer sites and mentor new starters or partners
