Role:

As a JUNIOR Business Value Consultant (BVC), your role will be to understand, document, and quantify the business value that Splunk Customers get through our platform. As part of the selling team, you will develop and implement strategies that build pipeline opportunities, drive growth, and efficiencies within your assigned sales district. You will evangelize and enable field sales around value Selling. You will also help cultivate and grow the BVC brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure that we are focused on path to plan objectives
  • Proactively enable sales on how to use value assets to facilitate more compelling sales decks and customer conversations
  • Partner with account managers to walk through value models with customers
  • Provide assistance and feedback on presenting value assessment results
  • Build a portfolio of both internal and external BVC related success stories
  • Liaise with BVC Strategists to improve our value selling tools
  • Keep BVC enablement materials fresh and updated

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of selling enterprise SaaS, value consulting experience a plus
  • Ability to support multiple deals at the same time while effectively collaborating with various roles within Splunk.
  • Proficiency with financial and business metrics, and affinity for simple mathematical equations such as return on investment and payback period

Note: Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on work location as set out below, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for bonus or commission and benefits, and may be eligible for equity.

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $148,400 - 204,050 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), New York (excludes NYC Metro Area), and all other states.

Base Pay Range: $145,600 - 200,200 per year
